I’m excited to announce that In8ness.com is live!

The mission here is to broaden access to science-backed personality concepts; provide useful assessment insights and education to its users; and help spread an appreciation of how nuanced individual differences are across cultures and people.

The idea for this web app is something that I have thought about for many years since first learning about these topics in my undergrad Psych classes. That the scientific method is actively being applied to understand the complex underlying constructs that compose patterns of human thought, emotion, and behavior is completely fascinating.

Personality science has developed significantly since that time, has a lot of valuable insights to offer, and is ultimately a constructive way to think about complexities in ourselves and people in general. To fully benefit from it, it should be shared in the context of the research that created it and evolve as the research evolves. In8ness will maintain tools that present a curated list of the most interesting (and reliable and valid) insights for its users.
