We’re excited to share the launch of a new feature on In8ness: Studies. This new module makes it easy to run personality assessment projects without needing custom software, complex spreadsheets, or expensive enterprise tools. Whether you’re conducting academic or medical research or managing development initiatives within an organization. Studies is designed to remove friction so you can focus on your questions, not the logistics.
With Studies, you can act as a study coordinator, purchasing assessment credits in flexible bundles and using them across multiple projects. You can create studies using validated five-factor instruments like the Mini-IPIP or IPIP-NEO-120, invite participants individually or in bulk, and track progress in real time. Assessments are allocated when invitations are sent (not when they’re completed), which gives you clear visibility into capacity and costs from the start.
As results come in, the platform provides both individual-level results and study-wide analytics. You can explore full personality profiles and aggregate patterns across traits, including comparisons to population norms. When you’re ready to analyze further, exporting your data is straightforward: a clean CSV file that works seamlessly with tools like R, SPSS, and Excel. Anonymous mode is also available for projects where privacy or IRB requirements are a priority.
The goal of In8ness Studies is simple: to make scientifically grounded personality assessment more accessible and practical. For researchers, that means launching pilot studies quickly without building infrastructure from scratch. For teams and organizations, it means offering evidence-based development resources.
If you’re interested in running your own study or learning more about how the coordinator tools work, you can view the Study Coordinator Guide for a detailed walkthrough on getting started.
